Meet Kali

Hi, I’m Kali (she/her). I’m an associate therapist in North Carolina, a mom of two, a military spouse, and someone who believes deeply in the power of healing through connection.

I’m also a breaker of generational cycles, and I’ve done the messy, personal work of shifting my own attachment style toward secure. Now, I help others do the same, because you deserve relationships and a life that feel safe, steady, and fulfilling.

Whether you’re juggling anxiety, depression, burnout, parenting struggles, or just feeling disconnected from yourself, my role is to sit with you in it, challenge you gently but directly, and walk beside you as you reconnect with what matters most.

I work best with people who want therapy to feel both real and useful, a place where you can unpack what weighs on you, notice patterns you didn’t see before, and also exhale without judgment. My style blends direct feedback, validation, and tools you can actually use, with moments of humor and humanity woven in.

Training & Background

I hold:

  • A Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lock Haven University & A Bachelor’s in Psychology from the same institution

  • I’ve had additional training in DBT and IFS therapies

  • A Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Tele-Mental Health to ensure my virtual therapy services are ethical, effective, and client-centered

  • EMDR Training COMING 2026!

Since 2020, I’ve worked across the mental health field in walk-in crisis centers, suicide prevention programs, and as a nonprofit counseling intern. I’ve worked with people from all walks of life, and I carry that experience into every session.

How I practice

I’m a trauma-informed therapist who blends evidence-based and compassionate modalities to meet your unique needs. I draw from:

  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy): To help you identify and shift negative thought patterns that hold you back

  • DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy): To support emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthier relationships

  • MI (Motivational Interviewing): To support you in making aligned changes, without judgment or pressure

  • IFS (Internal Family Systems): To help you explore the different “parts” of yourself with compassion, rather than shame

Each of these approaches helps you build emotional resilience, self-awareness, and authentic connection with yourself and others

At The Core

It’s About Connection

I believe that connection is what heals.

Let’s rebuild yours, together.
